Beata Kombel is the Director of Nursing at the Center for Balanced Health.
She is well trained after receiving an Associate Degree in Nursing from Borough of Manhattan Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Wisconsin. Before she came to the United States, she earned a nursing degree and worked as a hemodialysis nurse in Poland. Her first job in the United States was at the Terrence Cardinal Cook Healthcare Center in New York City where she held a position of the head nurse. Following this, she joined the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities at the Center for Balanced Health, Beata utilizes her nursing experience to help facilitate patient care and education. Her knowledge and calm demeanor are appreciated by patients making positive lifestyle changes.
Currently, Beata is pursuing her masters degree in nursing at Stony Brook University to become a primary care nurse practitioner in 2016.
